Thanks so much. DH is working on finishing it up this weekend. He put in the nest boxes and is getting the painting done. I think I could stay in there it is turning out so cute! I figure if I have to go in there and clean and spend time with the chicks, why shouldn't I enjoy my surroundings? (Which is why I have a cute laundry room too, hehe.)
Your coop is really beautiful! Like a lot of others, I love the color choices and the windows. I especially like how the chickens can look out the windows from the inside because it is their height. The chair on the front porch, the rooster weathervane, and the landscaping are cute touches too! I hope you guys make a coop page so that a lot of other people can see all the hard work you've put in to such an awesome coop!
One thought... I couldn't tell from the pictures -- is the wire behind your ramp into the yard buried in the ground? I noticed that there was no board at the bottom of the wire behind the ramp. I just wouldn't want any critters to be able to sneak in by digging under the wire and hurt your precious new chickies!

Thank you, and yep, there is hardware cloth buried all the way around the run. Tried to do it right the first time! We are going to be working on the coop tomorrow, and have decided to make a coop page when we are done. We never thought we would get so many responses from it! Makes us feel happy

Thanks. I won't be loving one set of those windows tomorrow when I have to scrape them and paint them. I already did the set you see in the pics; tomorrow the other set gets the treatment.
