Well I finally got started(need to, the chicks are outgrowning their quarters in the garage). Lastnight got the stilts and floor done. Ended up goin 7'x6'. I hope to get most of the walls framed in tonight and get it under roof over the weekend.

There are never too many coops to look at, so bring on the pics!

Our chicks were brooding in a box in our living room and growing rapidly. That is what kept me motivated to get the coop done.

Well I finally got soem pics but need to get more. Got the flock in lastnight and need to finish the run in the next day or so. They will semi free range till then while we are outside.

Here it is inm the messy yard, need to paint and sure up a few other odds and ends

but make sure you have enough ventilation. A window would be nice too. Doesn;t have to be fancy, just a hole cut with hardware cloth over it will suffice. You can put hinged plywood over it to open and close.
 
There is one window on the other side. I do plan on adding another for some cross breeze and maybe some more ventilation in the soffit.
