new coop (under construction)

today i decided to insulate the coop.I'm glad this phase is done with, that stuff is no fun to wrestle around with on a hot day.

finished up the inside of the coop today.

here is the roost 2x4 and it goes the full width of the coop and i made a quick disconnect tray system to catch the poo.

also installed two adjustable vents in the ceiling to increase ventilation.

this is an old nesting box i restored for my new coop.it had four more boxes on it and it was like 3 feet longer so i shortened it a bit so it wouldn't be to big.couldn't pass it up for five bucks.

.no rules, no boss, no schedule, no problem so i definitely enjoyed it.

Great job. The nestboxes are really nice. I hope your chickens make VERY good use of them!!! Love the roost and poopboard. Mine is similar (except that everything is crazy colored....) but my poopboard is not as wide. May have to change that if my girls don't manage with a little less surface.....
