That looks great. Are you going to put in a poop boards? You won't regret it, if you do. I have the open roost and ended up putting in a hammock type catcher for the poo. It is working but is hard to clean. This summer I will be putting in the poop boards covered in linoleum. Also any exposed 2x4 will get poo on them; That is if they are sideways. I want to cover all mine with a thin chip board to help with cleanning also. The less surfaces that are flat the better. I wish I had known this when i started. Please understand I am not criticizing. I love your size and ingenutity. Its built well too. Gloria Jean
floors will be tiled to help with cleaning and all flat surfaces that can't be tiled will be sealed. Poop Boards are in the plans along with nest boxes.
Thanks. I like it. He has been working very hard to get it done. He should have the front wall and the roof done today. Once all the construction is done I get to go and paint it. I am thinking of painting to look like a child's play house. This way most people would never look at it twice.
