Did you build from plans?
Why divided?
How many birds will you have?

Oh, and.... Welcome to BYC! @Chickensandchicks
Where in this world are you located?

I am from Tillsonburg, ON, Canada. I built the coop from a few different coop ideas I saw on Pintrist. I modified if quite abit as I added wire vent area near top on both sides with doors on flaps i can shut if cold or rain getting in...I also added plexiglass windows on both ends to let in natural light and chicken doors on both ends also. I divided it in the middle on inside as this coop I want to use for chicks and broody hens. I will attach pictures of inside. I do have a broody silkie in there on 9 eggs now due to hatch this Tues. And I have 12 baby chicks on other side ranging from 2 weeks to 3 weeks. It is very hot here last 2 weeks and very humid....in winter it snows and blows very cold so I also have hooks for heat lamps on both sides to keep water from freezing plus provide warmth if chickens need it.

That's a lot of chickens!
Are there more adult birds?
What are the dimensions of the coop floor?

Heat lamps are dangerous, better to get heated waterers.
They still need good ventilation in winter.
Good that you put the longer roof overhangs up top, that will help protect the monitor vents.
