New Coop

Ventilation is something I didn't plan very well. I'm definetly going to add. If you have any good ideas let me know. I do have a small opening in front were the roof meets the top of the coop. Let me know if you have any ideas. I was thinking about adding some small cedar vents on both sides. How much ventiation do I need?

Just cut a strip out (about 3 inches wide by 3 inches long or so) on both sides of it and put some hardware cloth or ventilation screen over it. Do it kind of close to thr roof so no predators can get at it. That should do it!

Just 3 inches wide by 3 inches long. Sounds easy enough. I will get some pics of the inside up soon. I haven't taken any yet. I finished the nesting boxes recently. I have 3 large nesting boxes. I built an egg door on the one side. I do like to go in the coop to check on the chickens, but thought it would be nice to just reach in and grab eggs from the outside. Also nice if I needed someone to grab the eggs if I was gone.
