just built a 8 x 8 coop my plans is to put one wall of nesting boxs and the other roosting bars my birds come and go at will most of the time they spend out side how many birds can i have in the coop

Plan a maximum of 4 sq ft per bird inside and 10 sq ft per bird in the run. Decide how big the run is and divide that down and go by the smaller of the two numbers.

Currently you could house 16 birds inside but unless the run is 10x16, you will be too confined outside.

there run is a but 1/4 acre the have a 25 x 25 area for them selfs then 1/4 acre with the goats so they are not confined
