Is this ramp to steep?

Sorry. What I ment was, us this ramp to steep for silkies?

I would just try it out first. You don't know until you try. I haven't ever had Silkies, are they good flyers? If so, then no problem. I think that steep would only be a problem with the bigger and fatter breeds.

Silkies fly about as good as a rock. So I've been told they need a way to climb. Good point thow, no harm in trying. Thanks

It should work fine. They can use their wings some for extra lift and should be able to scramble up there.

If you do have a problem, which you shouldn't, you could always make it less steep and add a second "stair" the opposite way with the remaining height.

If it turns out to be too steep you could elevate the bottom up a foot or so. They might have to jump up a little but it wouldn't be so steep.
