New Country Organics Chicken Ley foraging seed

Has anyone tried this product, or know anything about it? I saw it mentioned in Mother Earth News. It looks interesting, but it's expensive.

My bad, I didn't make myself very clear. Their Chicken Ley foraging seed is for planting on the area where the birds "free range", so they'll have better forage to eat. Basically, you grow their food, giving them a better diet and saving you money on feed. You still supplement with feed, but you won't need as much. Plus, it improves the soil, as a cover crop would, at the same time.

I'm new to chickens and have read that barley isn't that great for chickens. I noticed that the Scratch & Peck has barley and the New Country Organics doesn't. Any thoughts on this?
