Hi there! My name is Janine and I'm a chick-o-holic.....I bought my first chickies in November of 2009 from Mypetchicken.com. I got the rare breed selection of HENS. I only got 5, so it was much to my surprise that I ended up with one rooster. At first I was disappointed, but now I'm very happy. He guards the ladies when they free range. One of my hens recently was taken by a fox.....lesson learned....don't let the chickens out before 10 am. I just got 4 more chickies at the feed store. My first batch are now laying eggs! I LOVE CHICKENS!!!!
