New digs for the chicks

Hi All! It's the nervous new chicken mom again...lol. My chicks are about two weeks old now and are so awesome, active and curious. Everytime we reach into the brooder they are jumping on our arms and running up to our shoulders (which makes me worry they'll try to jump off from too high!). They are also all over each other so I was worried they might be outgrowing their brooder already. My husband created this set up for them. They seem to be enjoying the new view and room to move around. I'm a little worried about the wire "fencing". Like I said...nervous new mom... haha. I'd appreciate any input and yet again, reassurance. Thank you in advance! I'm so grateful to be a part of this community

The wire should be ok (small risk of one of them getting something stuck through/in the wire, but I use chicken wire for a chick surround as well. How tall is the wire? Do you have a cover for that set up? It's a good idea to keep chick enclosures covered, as they can jump/flap/vault themselves much higher than people think.

It's a little over three feet high but I have some extra wire so we'll make a cover for it to be safe.. thank you!
