It's time to let the ducklings out, so I opened the gate to their run so they could explore the orchard. Mama Goose wandered by, noticed the shade, the food, the water, the bedding inside the duck run. So she pushed the ducklings out and moved her goslings in. Poor ducks are timid about exploring the big world and they aren't permitted back into their safe run where a gander is standing sentry duty at the gate. In a couple of minutes, I'm going to have to take my broom and chase the geese out and try to keep them out while I get the ducklings locked up for the night.
