New doves!!!!!

Hi all. I am new to the dove world. I have 2 diamondback doves. I got them from 2 different pet shops here in town. I am hoping for one of each. I read online about the eye rims and think I am good on that. Anyone know what kind of sounds they make. So far I have not heard anything but have only had them one day.

Not sure on diamond doves but I have a male ring neck dove that coos and has a couple different types of laughs he does__one in particular a VERY creepy and funny laugh like he is from a mental institution! Cracks me UP.

Well I only have one dove now. My cat was able to pull off one of the males legs through the bars. I had to put him down. Now the female is in the cage that was to have been the transport one. I am so mad at my cat. I have raised over 65 chicks in the kitchen with no top on them!!! He NEVER even looked.

She is making some cute sounds now. I guess she will be ok by herself.

I had a pair of diamond doves a few years ago. If I remember correctly, they make a 'coo-coo' sound - thus ours being named Mrs. and Mr. Choo-choo

Ours never made much noise at all.
