New Duck Breeder- Questions??

I’m just starting to breed Silver Welsh Harlequins, and I have a few ducklings I’m not keeping. They’re from good, reliable stock, and healthy. I just don’t have room to keep them all unfortunately. (Or I would in a heartbeat!) They are 1 & 2 days old, healthy and spunky. ☺️

Here are my questions:
-What is a reasonable amount to ask for them?
-Does the price differ by gender? I only have one male, and several females to sell.
-Do I wait until they’re older to sell them?
-Also, what would be a reasonable price for 5 week old Silver Welsh Harlequin drakes? Same breeding stock, only I purchased them at a few days old instead of hatching them.

Any advice would be appreciated as I’m new to this! Thank you!

Hi I do not know how much they are worth but I can offer you some relative advice that you can sell them at any age really you are more likely to find people to buy them when they are off heat due to the person not needing a source of heat and drakes do well for less but I have found that on rare or more demanded breeds the males sell well compared to cockerels for example so it’s up to you when you sell them by the sounds of things the earlier the better if you don’t have any space

I would list them for $8 per day old (relative term) duckling.

Thank you!!
