New Duck Introductions

I have a flock of five female and one male. My friend had this duck that was getting picked on so she offered it to. She told it was a female so I said yes and pick it up. In the morning however I quickly discovered it was in fact a male. She nor I knew this dut I really would like to keep the duck but I'm not sure how to introduce it to my male. The male I got sent home with.

Could you try putting him in a pen by himself where they can all see each other for say a week or so?
