New duck parents

Hello thanks for your response, I don't prefer to have havevmy ducks sleep outside ,we already have an indoor setup for them ,they have their own room in our house ,It doesn't get to messy as I'm very particular about keeping it clean , they are outside for most of the day but they are very happy n get alot of love and attention from the 3 of us ,we live in the city and we just feel better having them safe in our house at night ! I'm just curious what u ment when u said u r surprised they lasted 21 weeks inside? Is that like a bad thing that I want them to sleep inside at night so they can be safe n stay warm,I plan on keeping them n love them so I don't want to put them in harms way ! Trust me they are very content ,I mean they seem happy n they love being around us they follow me and my son every were .I'm new to this which is why I'm asking questions lol

What I mean is, ducks are very smelly and noisy, and for most people, it isn't ideal or realistic to keep them inside when they can comfortably live outside. If you have a system that works, you can keep them inside at night.

Oh ok I was just wondering, I have 2 and pencil is very mellow and quite ,now quakaleaha she's a little loud sometimes ,she's very outspoken lol but as far as smelly goes they don't really smell because I stay on top of the messes they make .If u came into my house you wouldn't even know because they don't really smell ,I only have them 2 girls so it's not really hard to keep them clean . But yeah my system works so far .

Don’t feel bad
When I went from 2 to 16 I didn’t have the duck house built yet so I had all 16 in my house at night
I also keep on top of cleaning. My pens are done every morning
I don’t flip and add new I pick up every single poo
But I hatched 5 babies last winter plus mom and dad so I had 7 inside all winter till spring. I set up a kid pool in my laundry room and they got to play and bath every day
I added a drain to it and it would drain into the Laundry drain
In fact now that we are done the duck house and they sleep out there I miss seeing them when I would go downstairs.
They do run to the house every morning to visit :)
Not everyone has time to clean house ducks and I get that so it’s not for everyone
It doesn’t harm them at all to be inside :)
