New duck

hey guys... I just saved this little girl from an animal auction. I’m not sure what breed she is. I’m guessing Rouen? Or maybe a mutt duck? Any ideas?

The poor girl is covered in filth And her feathers are all disshelved. I’m hoping a few days of spoiling her, she’ll start looking better.

She has an egg with her. Unfortunately she got scared and broke it.

Yes a Rouen Duck..Let her bath and good feed and she will be fabulous...Congrats..

Yep looks like a Rouen but she could be a cross.

She’s my only duck that is laying right now (my other ones are too young). I’ve noticed that her eggs are 2 different colors?! I have no idea if this is normal for this breed or not. The first egg seemed to have a cream color on both ends, and a pale blue/green in the middle. The second egg I got was all the pale blue/green. This morning it looks like the first egg again. Any ideas?
