I'm assuming this is where I post that I'm a new member, but I'm a little confused on what I'm doing... And feel silly that I can't figure it out! 😂

My name is Jessica and I recently (a month ago) purchased two baby Mallard ducks and two little Khaki Campbell ducks. They are sweet little ducks, but boy are they messy! I refer to this site quite often when I have questions that I want to look up, and almost always get the answer I'm looking for! So I thought joining the site to ask my own questions, would be a smart thing to do!

**With that said, HELP!! 😋**

So I'm very curious as to whether or not anyone else has wood floors that their ducks poop has ruined (by leaving tons of white stains)! I have yet to find a type of diaper that I like. I've ordered a few off eBay and could not figure out how to use them for the life of me, or they just did not seem like they would catch the poop very well, so I returned them. So for the past month I've literally been following behind them, cleaning their poop up and mopping after them daily! (I only put them in their enclosure when I'm not home) And my wood floors look so horrible now! Not only do my floors look awful, but the worst part is that I'm renting my home! I don't want to get charged to replace all the wood floors when I finally move! Any suggestions on how to remove white stains left from duck poop? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, and sorry for the LoOoNg post!!

I would not let your ducklings run loose inside your house. Looks like you may have to pay to have those floors redone. when mine were in I put down puppy pee pads and blocked an area so they had some freedom but they would poop most of the time on the pee pads. A dog x pen works well for this. Welcome to BYC
