New duckie mommy 🦆💕

I would not let your ducklings run loose inside your house. Looks like you may have to pay to have those floors redone. when mine were in I put down puppy pee pads and blocked an area so they had some freedom but they would poop most of the time on the pee pads. A dog x pen works well for this. Welcome to BYC
Well poo! (no pun intended! 😋) I had a feeling I wouldn't get any good news about making the mistake of letting them have free range without diapers! Thank you!

Are you sure your floors are wood an not laminate because a good finish should stand up to their poo if your cleaning up right behind them. I have old wood floors no finish hardly left and I didn’t get white spots when mine pooped on the floor.

Hi Jessica! Welcome to BYC!
I've never used duck diapers before, so idk what kind to recommend... :idunno
I used to clean my wood floors with vinegar and warm water. I never tried cleaning up duck poo... but it worked really well on puppy poo. :)
I'll have to try the vinegar method and cross my fingers it does something for me! Thank you!

I'm not sure if they are or not honestly, maybe I should find that out!! 😲

Welcome! You are a brave gal letting them run loose in your home! I kept mine in a brooder inside my home. Couldn't handle it so we made a brooding house and that is where batch #2 are living! I've no idea on your floors but I have had great success with a hydrogen peroxide & water mixture to pull God knows what off my floors. I have a horse ranch, also have dogs, cat's, chickens, ducks and massive amounts of wild birds! Lol Who knows what I drag across my floors. 🤷‍♀️
