Hi everyone! About three weeks ago i bought a 2 week old Pekin, and 2 one week old Khaki Campbell’s. I love my Pekin, and i wanted to get him a friend like him! So, i was wondering if it was too late to get another Pekin, and if i should wait for next year? Or will the new pekin be okay with all of the ducks already. A speedy reply would be so helpful! Thank you ❤️

As long as the Pekin isn't so huge and aggressive that he'll bully/injure the younger, smaller ducks, it should be okay as is.
Will it be okay when the other ducks go outside? It would only be in the brooder first about two more weeks, and i take them out every single day to swim in our bathtub and time to hangout around me and cuddle. Would they still be ok on the same feed? Sorry!!!

Never mind! Probably won’t get another one just because i wouldn’t want him to get stomped on! Thanks for your help!

You could put your new little one in the same brooder just section off a small area with something they can see through but the big ones can't get to the little one. When I had 2 Runner ducks hatch last Summer I did this in my brooder since I had 3 weeks old already in there. I used hardware cloth and wrapped the edges in gorilla tape so the sharp metal was covered then made a small area for my 2 littles they recovered from hatching and day 3 I took the divider down and the older ones just took right to the young ones. They could see each other that is what helps. Just watching no one picks on the little or tramps on it accidently.
