New duckling has splayed legs, doesn't seem to be eating?

I completely understand you. My grandpa is the type who thinks if they don't bring a profit, or might not bring one, cull it.

I think this is right?

I'm not sure what's up. It basically shows the duckling beginning to stand fine but then flipping over onto his back when he tries to walk.

I would at least be adding some honey into the little ones drinking water to help with energy.

Perhaps ask around and see if anyone has any human vitamins you could grind up with a spoon and add to their water ?

You need to take the little one to food and water and dip the end of their bill into it - they should do the rest !

I hope they are doing better today ! I have one like this currently and he did better for 24 hours with the hobbles on - he's still not right but he can get himself to food and water now.

Good luck !

Little guy ate some this morning. He's so spunky and tries his best. I was thinking about doing some Duck Hydrotherapy with him.
I think thats a great idea in shallow and warm water with you supervising - he may need your guidance to stay balanced. Watch out for them getting tired and towel him off after.

Let us know how it goes !

I got the idea because my doctors were talking about doing it with me for my legs!
