New Duckling ID

All 6 babies. Ducky experts weigh in on breeds. I am in cuteness overload! Slightly worried about the smallest. Feathers seem sticky or dried around the rump and looks like missing feathers on the little wings. Doing electrolytes in water and flock raiser for feed. Got Durvet B complex coming Tuesday for prophylactic leg health. Any other suggestions for overall well-being

Keep watch on the little bottoms for pasty butt. If the little one has pasty butt it won't be able to poop,so nice warm water and soft cloth to clean off the bottom. B complex will be good for leg strength.

We did a nice warm soapy wash of the bottom last night and I am pleased to report a soft fluffy rump greeted me this morning. No sign of the pasty butt. I am going to keep a close eye on this cutie, I always worry about failure to thrive in my smallest babies.

Adorable babies!
None of them look like white layers to me… I got some last year and hatched some this year. They have a distinct look to me, almost chubby? It’s not as distinct in the pic as they are 2 weeks old here.

No BS? That's awesome and officially the first new thing I have learned for the day. :wee
Just wait till I tell my daughter when I get home. Backstory is I am always saying I want Orpingtons (chickens), but now I might actually have one. (not the chicken, lol) :love

They are so precious and colorful! I bet they keep your life interesting. One day I want a duck army!

Yep. I have a female that's about 18 months and a male that's a little over 2 months. They'll be a light orange cream color, like a wheat field, and male's get blue heads
