I just purchased six duckling from tsc in Ohio and I had some concerns. All opinions and advice is welcome and greatly appreciated Thanks for reading.
1. When I was picking out the ducklings some of them had obviously been pooped on because of so many ducklings huddled together. After a few days though one of the ducklings down still looks matted and thin. When I felt it's back the skin seemed sort of dry. The head and tail down is fluffy and I can't see the skin through it. Does the duckling possibly have a skin condition or is it from being unfortunately pooped on by others?
2. A different duckling is sneezing but only when it is drinking. I haven't heard any of the others sneezing. Is it sick? If so what should I do for it?
3, Lastly I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I am in the process of trying to design a good coop. I was wondering if any other city dwelling duck owners had some tips on a good duck house on that won't be an eye sore for neighbors, decent in size and won't destroy the yard. I have five mallards and one blue swedish.
Once again thanks for reading.
