New duckling owner

Just make sure to have a backup plan. Not speaking from personal experience- but I have heard sometimes ducks and chickens don’t get along (especially during breeding season). I’m sure you’ll figure it out though! It may be simple to just put up a divider or something.
Yeah I’ve read there can be issues. There’s a wall and door to separate them, plus my boyfriends pretty handy so if we have too he’ll make them a duck house all their own. He’s already been looking at ideas too lol

So I got my first ducklings this week. I got 12 (4 Cayugas the rest are a surprise) after I ordered I continued to read up on ducks and started to worry I would have my hands full with 12. They arrived Thursday morning and so far so good it hasn’t been all that bad. They are super messy with their water but that was to be expected and seem to love to nibble on my rings, hands and sleeves.
Welcome to BYC! I used the same waterer, but I place a large plastic plate under mine and that seems to keep their brooder cleaner. I'll see if I can find a picture that shows mine.
