New ducklings!

[Simply Oblivious]

A few weeks ago I ordered some ducklings off Cackle Hatchery. Went and picked them up on Thursday! I purposely picked breeds known to be friendly (as none of my Khaki Campbelss or Anconas outside like me at all). Currently they eat out of my hand and occasionally tolerate being pet a little bit, but none of them like being held. Tips?

Sometimes you just have to force your love on them
When I had mine last year, every night after bath time I would let them preen, then gather them up for snuggles.

They’re so precious!! I’ll be letting them swim a little bit tomorrow in some warm water. My Khaki Campbells loved to cuddle up to me when they were babies!
