Hatched two Welsh Harlequins today. Haven't hatched ducklings for a couple years and they are just as ridiculously cute as I remembered.

Goregeous. I love them all floppy and wet like that. I have 5 eggs in lockdown now...i wish mine would hurry up!

How do you go with staqgered hatches in the incubator? I have an occasional issue when I set eggs every week - so have to be really careful watching the size of the aircells because the the high humidity for hatching.

I just raise the humidity every time I have something almost ready to hatch and then let it drop again afterwards. Seems to work fine. If the eggs make it all the way, they usually hatch as long as I have the humidity up enough. I did have one of these internally pip two days ago but he never made it to pipping the shell. It was a very big chick.

LOL, will do. One seems a bit weaker than the other. I hope it will catch up some. My poor one EE chick that hatched yesterday is happy for the company in his brooder now (he really screeched after I would visit him and leave him). Course he is pecking at them but the bigger duckling chick is pecking back, lol.
