Hi! I have two ducks right now. i have never before fathered ducklings and so far things are working out very well i have had them for about two months now and now im starting to notice aggression in my (maybe) female mallard, leona. i love holding them and they often cant be anywhere else by right by my neck and i love it, but recently leona has been biting at my eyes. at first it was something i didnt bother with and i figured that it was a phase or something but now she is a bit older and she is doing it more and now is drawing blood :P so if anyone has any idea on what this is, or how i can correct it, the help would be greatly appreciated! i would love to stop showing up to school with holes in my eyelids :P

and i have to tell you made me laugh, I bet you are funny looking with holes in your eye lids.. Ducks feel with their bills for anything yummy so more than likely having leona up around your face she is going to try out eye lids. lips cheeks hair anything she can find to nibble on. First off I'd keep her away from my face. We don't realize this much but our eye lashes are moving alot so she sees this and is acting just like she would if she was going after something like a moth. Try keep them around the lap area and see if that helps and maybe you won't have holes in your eye lids any more.
