new ducks

i moved to a new location last november in michigan and it has a pond. a few weeks ago i bought some chicks and ducks. how big should the ducks be before i let them into the pond and is there any thing i should worry about? how long before i let the chicks stay out side and do they need a coop?

Wait until they are fully feathered...and no for the first few weeks. Their oil glands must get to working and so forth.

Once you start putting them in, do it for short periods and then get them out, dry them off and so forth.

Do you know what is in the pond? Baby will get eaten by turtles and some bigger fish...so I would wait and let them get grown up first.
