so I got 2 kakki Campbell ducklings from a friend one died the other I still have. he is 3 weeks old and lives with 5 other serama chicks. when he is older do you think i could keep him with the seramas and be fine without another duck (dunno the gender fingers crossed its a female)

also tips on ducks would be nice.

I get the general idea but some tips would help

Ducks need other Ducks...They are not the same species as Chickens so it depends on the Birds if they tolerate Chickens...Drakes breed lots so can kill Chickens once mature...Many things could go wrong with keeping them together...You do need another Duck...

I was thinkin of waiting till he's older cause I just got more chicks so I probuly can't get more birds.

plus I dunno his gender and I don't wanna end up with 2 males or 2 females

You need to do more research about Ducks...One Drake with one Hen might not work..Drakes have a penis unlike Roosters that don't ...So if it's a Drake and not enough Duck Hens he will breed and kill Chickens...Maybe find it a new home?

yes I know that but I'm asking if it's ok to wait till he's 4 months old when I know what gender he is to get another one so I don't end up with 2 drakes or 2 hens

i can get one more duck so i don't wanna get one if don't know the gender and it end up being a male and the one i already have being a male then I have to sell one and find another female I would just prefer to wait but Is there any earlier for sure 100% sexing besides feathers at 4-6 moths

I have heard their pitch in the quack but I dunno of that 100 precent accurate.

I don't know of anyone who will do vent sexing for me and don't you have to do that within a couple days of hatching? (that's what it is for chickens anyways)

but mabey if I can find someone who can sex them I'll get a for sure female from them and hope that percy (curent duck) is a drake.

can any of you sex them if you can I'll record a video
