a friend I knew had a drake and one hen and hers did fine...

dosent it really depend on the drakes temperment.

some should be fine or else they wouldn't sell breeding pairs

They sell them in pairs so they are not stuck with Drakes..Yes...It depends on the Drake...Some are very aggressive breeders..

so I'm gonna get a duckling that is a for sure female and I'm hoping that he won t be an aggressive breeder. even if it's a male

another one of my friends has a Campbell and he's a great drake hardly voters the females.

yes and that is what I will do I'll attempt to find someone close to us...

so his quack has gotten raspy and deeper so I'm guessing male...
