Hello and thank you for this site. I spend a lot of times on forums, and it was about time I got into one like this. Most of what I read on daily is trucks, cars, and tractors.
We (me and my lovely girlfriend) currently have 5 turkeys, and 13 chickens! So we are well into this project. We are wholly into being more self sufficient, and in charge of where and when our food comes from. We have (sorry for my spelling errors in breeds, I am new to that) brahmas, Americaunas, brahma-americauna cross (we hatched those ourselves, pretty proud of those two!), aerocaunas, buff orpingtons and then 3 different kinds of turkey's that I can't remember what they are! lol They are all very entertaining and range in age from 1.5 years down to 2 months old.
I love the chickens, but I am definitely more fascinated by the turkeys. They are all fun to see and interact with. We have pens and free roaming for them, 2 tractors, it's been fun keeping all that up.
Glad to be here, and I will have questions, as I am sure you will of me, so hit me up! Thank you for your time, and hope to hear from you all in the future.
In case you couldn't guess my name,
Richard Howard
