So, I just picked up two hatchery chicks 12-week-old. Identified as EE(Ameraucana) pullets. What do you think? Are they both pullets

Any chance they're actually Ameraucana rather than EEs?

Their names are Creme & Brulee.

I have an EE pullet that looks just like Creme and Brulee but does not have the long tail feathers. She is 5 months old and just started laying little green/blue eggs this week.

Brulee's hackle feathers look pointy to me

so I will say rooster. Not sure on the other one.

Cute EEs. Does that mean you don't want the 2 I'm saving for you? I'm pretty sure I can tell girls from boys now but I want to be sure.

Two girls.

Definitely not Ameraucanas.

I think I'm okay for chickens now. Just wasn't sure who had what anymore and these were already available and sexed by the hatchery.

But if you get a baby from Marlon or Clark, we'll gladly take a grandchick once they're for sure pullets!

Thanks everyone. Sounds like the answer is "pullets" to me. Woohoo! Finally got my EE pullets.
