In the Brooder
Hi everyone,
I have been raising chickens since last spring, just for eggs. But then I was captivated by the animals themselves. Their personalities are wonderful! I have a few barred rocks and several golden buffs (GREAT egg layers), and a couple of mystery hens. Recently, I bought lots of day-old guinea keets, and they are sure fun to watch. All feed store/hatchery birds, nothing fancy.
Sometime soon, I will be looking for a few black copper marans and ameraucanas, dark chocolate and blue egg layers to complement my pink and brown eggs. I also have a fondness for Wellsummers and Delawares. I welcome recommendations for breeders and hatcheries.
Sincerely,
Bekka
