In my community, there is a growing pack of Muscovy ducks that I've grown fond of. Recently, one of the mama ducks laid seven eggs in my front yard.
My parents and I noticed the ducks weren't around very often and we grew concerned as the eggs were in a very visible and unprotected area. (Last year the ducks had laid some eggs in a neighbors yard and they were all eaten by crows.)
We don't know anything about ducks or eggs and we didn't want to disturb the nest, but a few hours later we found that the nest had been ransacked. A raccoon must have gotten into the nest as there were eggshells everywhere and only two of the seven remained unharmed.
We knew the two eggs would not make it through the night if the raccoon returned so we decided to take them in. We have no idea if we will be successful in hatching the eggs, but we figure we would at least give it a chance.

I'm a high school senior and with the summer coming up I figure this would be a fun project and opportunity to learn more about ducks and the online duck/chicken community. I really hope I am able to successfully hatch these two eggs with the help of this forum :)

I've already made a thread asking for help in the incubation process. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
