I built a chicken coop for my kids as one of my new spring projects, and now we have 2 wonderful barred rocks and 1 black sex link and will be raising more to get what we want. I had a duck when I was growing up but with my 3 kids, chickens seemed more practical. Needless to say -but I'm gonna-is that they absolutely love these girls and are thrilled to have them. I have looked to this forum and website for lots of input and look forward to being a part of the community. Thanks for everything so far!!!
