Hello, this is my first go around with hatching chicks from an incubator. Usually just let the hen sit but we had a mishap at our ranch. All the chicks have been hatching out real good so far except for one that hatched today at around 5:00 am (California time). Has strange protrusion on its head and hasn’t disconnected from umbilical cord. Also seem to have either a hernia or protruding belly button? Need some help on what to do.

Not sure about the bump on the head, I really hope he or she is ok, but I do know that you aren't supposed to pull or touch the umbilical cord at all, and I'm pretty sure it'll come off on its own. But I really don't know much, so you should probably wait for someone else to reply. Good luck!
