You know you're from New England when the local animal shelter has a New Hampshire Red rooster among the dogs and cat's.

I'm seroius. The animal control agent in Duxbury picked it up somewhere a few days ago. If anyone is interested in this bird I told him I'd ask around...let me know.

An Immersion Animal Disaster Training. MAY 2 & 3 2009

Noahs Wish www.noahswish.org

Location: Scenic, rural Chester, Vermont

Fee: $125 New Noahs Wish Volunteers
$85 Returning Volunteers, Students & CERT members

Training is designed to simulate the conditions that you may experience during a disaster deployment, therefore we require you to be self-sufficient for the entire training period. This means sleeping at the training location and bringing enough food and water to carry you through Saturday and Sunday.
