I agree, it is a mess over here in Brockton, school started an hour late because everything was iced over, now it is 10 am and raining , so hopefully it will melt the snow off of the sidewalks.

My girls are not a fan of snow, wont leave the coop doorway, but rain... that is another story they love it. So I put a tarp over their run to shield the wind and icy rain so they might venture out of the coop later on today.

started snowing here at 530am. its now sleeting at 11am they cancelled school today . cant wait till spring .there saying cold friday and saturday .17-26 friday and around 10 degrees saturday burrrrrr.

I was soooo happy to be able to stay in bed a little later since school was cancelled but I think I am ready to send my ds to school.

It is sleeting here now too. I can hear it hitting the window. How depressing.

Almost nap time. My favorite time of day. I can get something done.

It's raining here now. Chickens and ducks still won't come out. They canceled school for the day so we're going out to do some errands that I didn't finish yesterday.

Its 26 in the bantam hutch (yes the themo is in there, didn't want them freezing- that is how I watch them, lol) sleeting after about 3" snow. I had the tractor out, fueled, slack tire blown up and ready for almost anything.
I honestly rather have snow then ice. I can snow blow snow, slush and ice...shovel time.
Hey you folks, there is a cold that is going around that will land you in bed for at least 4 days. DH was down 5 days in bed, horrible chest cold that sits on you like pneumonia. Musinex works well.
Don't put off going to the doctors if you need to go! - nothing get DH down, he actually never called out ill in 4 years! But he claims that healing quickly is all about the love of a woman. (see, that is why I keep him around!)
Hey bubbaz, long time no hear, how are you doing?? If you are interested there is a NNEBFA aka Bird club meeting on Jan 11 , 11 am pot luck if your interested in joining in. You can ride up with me, its in Farmington- if its snowing, it will be canceled. Or anyone that is interested, we set up and tend to the birds at the fairs and help with educating folk, and some will be speaking at 4-H clubs.
