New Englanders! Much ado about New England!

I need to find a home for three of my ducks. They are Blue Swedish/runner duck crosses, or at least that's what the woman who gave them to me told me. They are tooooooo loud for my neighborhood. I'm not sure how old they are. I've had them two years and I believe they were a year old when I got them. They all went broody this summer, but I didn't let them hatch eggs.
I'm in eastern CT. My neighbors hate me.

It always amazes me the amount of people that complain from a rooster crowing. Not because I have them and think it's ok, but nobody complains about the plane flying overhead, the kids yelling in the street or yard while playing. The punk driving down the road with his music at level 10, the barking dogs etc. But let a rooster do his thing and everybody gets upset.

If they have a dog, I would call/complain every time it barks.......and I mean EVERY time. "Yeah, Mr.Neighbor - I wanted to thank you for bringing to my attention how often my rooster crows. I didnt realize just how many crows I was missing! I want to return the favor and will be calling you every time your dog barks, so you can share in the same joy! It's a pleaseure having thoughtful neighbors like you. Thanks!!

I aree with you.I have neighbors with barking dogs. They bark during the day,they bark during the night nobody cares. When I was thinking about getting chickens I thought why not get a roo. So I did. Now he just started to crow about 3 weeks ago. I`m waiting for someone to complain. I`m not the only one with a roo in the nieghborhood,but anyway I`m waiting for someone to complain and this is what I`m going to do. I am going to go get a butcher knife and tell the neighbor to hold the roo while I cut his head off. I will return the favor of holding your dog while you cut its head off next time it barks sound fair. not really my roo is out at 7 in the morning and back in at 7 in the evening. That is the only time you will hear him.
