did you happen to notice my black silkie hen that looked dull next to the other black in that show? i am working on getting her coat to shine, or maybe i should be working on getting her a good black roo and see if i can better her color in the next generation

yes, the only dull coat there, it was my first show, have no clue wish i had gotten some feedback from others and judges to see if it is worth trying again, what she lacks etc

Well, Chickn, I don't know what bird(s) you brought, but wandering around looking at them all, I think everyone did an excellent job.
Here is the unintellegent question of the day...do you have to wash your poultry to get them white, shiney or that kinda 'stuff'?

Oh, also, I have the address and information on the Northern New England Bird Fanciers Club. I wrote them asking for permission to put their info online, all they need is 100 NE'ers calling this afternoon :0) .
Apparently this club was the one that "sponsered" the Poultry Show in Windsor.
As soon as I get an ok, I'll post the information, also, I asked if they had any ideas where we could do a "chickenstock", hey, maybe we can double up and have a ball!
