Hey guys!!! I am eggcited about the new sign in town...digging ground, forms built and lots of big mean machinery...TSC is coming to town!
If things work out in the spring...I haven't asked yet...but hopefully Oxford Hills will have its own ChickenStock! Wooohooo. If they wont, as we have found out that some TSC stores do not appreciate the thought of having us chicken brain people out clucking about...and if this is one of those stores...me and my small handful of birds will peck on the door of the Paris Farmers Union. HA! take that...lol.
Anyhow, yes I am full of it, its been a long day up heah in Maine, took the "ladies" (Carol 80yr old and Mom 72 yr old) to lunch, the fabric store, the organics store and farmers market. Holy cow, I deserve my halo now! Mom gives me a run for my $$$$, she sat in the back seat of the (new to me SUV), as Carol and I walk towards the restraunt, mom is yelling at me..."I go to her door ask her whats tha mattah?" and she yells," I cant open the door!"So I open the door and get her out...close the door and lock them for her to yell, "give me my pocket book..." ,
So, ok, all set...where is DH, he was supposed to meet us. Mom argues with me about the silver blazer with plain Maine plates is DH's...No, here he comes now with a Honda with Ag tags on...! LOL, by this point, I am counting to 10 - don't mind my tone, I love my mother dearly, will miss her when she is gone, yet she can be a 3 year old in 1.2 seconds!!!!
Anyhow, we successfully went to a vegan restraunt, DH and I had been before and enjoy it- so did the ladies!
The rest of the day, one of us- the 80 yr old carol or I managed to get mom out of the back seat, to learn after we dropped Carol off and got home, that the little switch on the corner of the door takes the child safety lock off
which went over like a fly in a punch bowl!!!
Eh, I'm pooped, did my good dead for the YEAR and God bless you all in the sandwich position or taking care of a parent. God bless you and feel free to compare notes!
Hey there, all you Vermonters! We're from central Vermont, south of Rutland...just look for the B52 bombers (mosquitoes this year!) - you can't miss us! They're overwhelming the bats in our belfry!
I live in Rochester NH...born and bred in Lynn Massachusettes but needed to move to the country...totally a New Englander!
I have 2 white silkie Roos about 18 weeks old anyone interested in swaping for a couple of silkie girls around same age or older??? I got the whites when they were 2 days old...I live in the city and the neighbors haven't complained of their crowing YET but I am sure they will...I cannot make it to Milford because it is the same day as the Nascar Race weekend at Louden
Thanks for the info Chickn. Hows life treating you these days?
Did I mention we are getting a TSC in Oxford, Maine. Just after Wally's World on rt 26. I hope that in the spring they will let us gather, that would be awsome- lots of chicken people in this area!
