New Englanders! Much ado about New England!

Yeah, it is here too, and unusually muggy...but nothing like they've gotten hit with in Texas & surrounding areas with those nasty hurricanes........that's why we New Englanders endure the snow and sleet.

We are originally from Mass, have lived in NH for 20+ years, hoping to move to Maine next year where the property taxes are more reasonable and to be closer to the family...New England rules!

No chickens yet, but enjoying this forum and learning as much as I can. Hope to start next year with chickens, guineas and maybe turkeys too. (After we move!) We were amazed by the crowd at chickenstock on Sunday.

This site is such a good find!

And I'm so happy to hear the MIlford chickenswap on Sunday went so well! Maybe one of these times I can cruise down there - it would be great to meet "neighboring" BYC'ers
