Hi all we are new to this whole Chicken expierence

We just moved to our new home woo hoo and it has room for Chickens with an existing coop so this is all new to us. This website is wonderful and very helpful as we are revamping our chicken coop and have no idea what we are doing

We are looking for chickens now and were told Orpington (buff)

and Australorps :cdwere the best? Any opinions on this any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Buff Orpingtons and Australorps are good laying chicken and very gentle!! IMO

Lucky you to have found a place with a coop. You'll have fun preparing for your new family.

Our most friendly pullet is a BO. She runs to jump on our laps when we sit down for a visit with the girls.
