Hi guys!

Meet Barb and the twins! We picked these Sussex chicks up last weekend. Barb is the chick on the left, she's the only one with a name because she really stands out. She's the biggest and bravest, the first one to jump on our hands, the first one to try to roost, the first one to go exploring... First the twins were avoiding her, but now they're learning from her and thanks to her they're all jumping on our hands not even after one week! Now one of the twins is catching up to Barb and the other is still a bit smaller and more scared, but she's getting there!

In general they're all doing fine, they eat and drink a lot and are very active during the day, but thank God for this forum, I already looked up sooo many things. At the moment they're actively pecking at the bottom of their brooder, but as I understand there's not much to do about it... I cover it up again most times to keep them busy :)

I think we're doing a good job trying to get them tame, we entertain them multiple times a day (my girlfriend has the week off, which was a safe idea for their first week here), they're not scared of our hands, they even crawl unto them, they're curious when we open the brooder, they seem to react to our voices... I hope they'll take this with them into adulthood!
