New Feather Growth

I'm wondering how long it takes for new feathers to grow back in?

Our mama duck who's sitting now had a bare neck from being pestered so bad by the drakes. Around the end of April she started sitting and the guys left her alone except to chase her when she came out (she won't stop quacking the whole time she's off the nest) So now it's the end of May and she has downy feathers that have grown in, but no mature feathers on her neck base yet. She rather ornery, but is there something that I should be try to do for her? She also does not eat much; she's always been the small one.

I would make protecting her a priority, make sure she is getting excellent nutrition with some extra vitamins once a week.

She is protected now and the last few days all the time now

I guess my question now is, how do I get her to eat and drink? There is no way to force it on her. She is very wary and energetic and has never been one to eat or drink much.
