new feed an chickens started laying like crazy

It is very possible that the change in feeds is partly responsible for the increased egg production, but we have also reached the time of year when the daylight hours are beginning to increase quite rapidly. I would attribute the increase to a combination of the two.

Here in SD, our daylight hours are now increasing by 2 - 3 minutes a day, and this will continue till June 21, when they will begin to decrease again.

i buy the feed from a feed mill that makes flower and i have been feeding it for almost 2 months now it is made right on site the only bad thing is i have to buy 2,000 pounds or more at a time but it only cost me about 193.00. they sell all kind of animal feed like for cows chickens, pig and goats

Where do you store that much feed and what do you pick it up in? I dont think I would have the ability to store that much if I new where to get it.

I pay 11.99 for fifty lbs.
That would be a huge savings as I usually buy 10 bags at a time!!!
