Hi everyone. So i recently found a farm near me that sells organic chicken feed they make themselfs. However the feed seems damp and dosn't realy feed properly in the feeder. The first feeds i got were chick starter Nutrena country feed, Second was dumor grower/finisher. Both of those feeds were much drier, however in the farm feed i can see seeds and what not in it where as in the store bought stuff its like small crumbles. just curious if i can drie the feed more or if its supposed to be like that thanks.

Can you call/speak with the farm that sold it to you? They could likely give you the best info on it.

Is it pressed into pellets? Maybe it didn't dry enough after mixing and pressing. If it is damp, put it in a dry area and the moisture will likely slowly leave. Hopefully it does go bad before it is fully dry. Wet feed is gross.

Wish ya the best.
