Thinking of switching to this food Nutrena Nature Wise All Flock 20% Crumble Feed do y,all think that is a good idea? Is this better then Country Companion All Flock Pellet Feed

Thinking of switching to this food Nutrena Nature Wise All Flock 20% Crumble Feed do y,all think that is a good idea?

I prefer pellets because I get less waste feeding pellets than I do with feeding crumbles.

I do not care to much its just more fertilizer for the garden!

At the amount I feed and the rapidly increasing costs, preventing feed waste is important to me.

The Nutrena has .35% methionine while the Country Companion has .31% methionine. The lysine is the same. You will have to call the manufacturers to find out what the niacin content is.

They are essentially the same feed except for the Nutrena being crumbles and Country Companion being pellets. Nutrena does make it in pellets too.

The Nutrena is $19.99 for a 40 lb. sack while the Country Companion is $19.99 for a 50 lb. sack. There is not enough difference in the feed to want pay the same amount for 10 less lbs.

The Guinea with the broken leg is doing much better and she almost has no limp. The others are doing fine.
