New first time flock member

Hi- New member and first time chicken mom. My name is Erin and we have 8 almost 14 week old chicks.(hopefully). We have 2 black Australorps, 2 speckled Sussex’s, 2 Wynadottes golden laced(?)) a Rhode Island Red and an IDA Brown. Had absolutely no idea I would enjoy them so much and have become quite attached to them all. I love reading all the forums and learning all about them. So far I’ve gotten lots of good advice here and they seem to be growing healthy and strong. Going to keep reading here to try to keep it that way!
