I can relate. My passion, however , is limited to construction.
 
I lucked out today and got 12 chicks at tractor supply. 3 rir, 3 silver laced wyandottes, 3 barred rock I believe and I’m not sure what the other breed is. It said they were rare and would lay light blue eggs.

Fyi, the light blue layers may be crested cream legbars.
